Cellular Matrix (PRP + HA)

Cellular Matrix is a non crosslinked hyaluronic acid that can be combined with platelet-rich plasma PRP to enhance results. It improves skin hydration, radiance and glow. Studies have shown superior results from the combination of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) with Hyaluronic acid (HA). In particular, we see a significant improvement in the the skin’s elasticity and hydration.

  • The treatment starts by taking a sample of blood which is then spun and separated in a centrifuge. This is then injected back into the skin using a needle or a cannula (blunt needle). There is little, if any, downtime after this procedure, although you may experience some redness, swelling or bruising at the injection site for a few days post treatment. Improvement of skin texture and tone are generally noticeable within three weeks but full collagen regeneration can take up to three months. It is recommended to have a series of sessions to obtain optimum results. The results of PRP are not permanent, as natural degradation will occur over time. Improvements can last up to a year. A course of 3 treatments performed every 4-6 weeks is advised with yearly maintenance.

  • Used for many years in the treatment of sports injuries, wound healing and joint pain PRP has become a favoured natural treatment in skin rejuvenation. By drawing on your own concentrated growth factors, which are essential for stimulating collagen elastin and for healing, it makes it a very safe option for reinvigorating the skin.

  • PRP can help improve tired and dry skin, laxity of skin and pigmentation, and fine lines and dark circles. It is also a lovely option for overall texture and tone improvement. It is very popular with patients looking for a more natural treatment option.
