The Moxi laser hand piece is glided across the skin, you may feel a slight warming sensation, which means the laser is doing its job.

Moxi creates micro-coagulation zones in the skin—the body naturally re-pairs these zones and replaces damaged cells with healthy, vibrant skin over the coming days and weeks.

The treatment itself is very tolerable, you will feel intense heat 1 -2 hours post treatment.

YES! We are now delighted to finally have a very effective treatment for Melasma. This is one of the only lasers suitable for treating Melsama.

While Moxi can’t treat the underlying cause of melasma, it can address the associated dermal pigment. The Moxi laser targets water within the cell, which causes the cell to denature. The body then removes this cell and replaces it with one without pigment buildup.

While we know there is no cure for melasma, the visible signs associated with this skin condition can be treated using 3 Moxi treatments spaced 4 weeks apart and a skin maintenance regimen that includes Moxi 1- 2 times a year thereafter.

A targeted homecare routine to include a mineral SPF, anti-oxidant/ lightening serum and retinol are also important pre and post treatment.
