Elysium Skincare Clinic is home to an independent medical aesthetic clinic run by Mr Tom Barry, Consultant Oral andMaxillofacial Surgeon (OMFS) based at Galway University Hospital (GUH).

With dual qualifications in medicine and dentistry and specialist surgical training, he is uniquely positioned at the intersection of medical, dental, and aesthetic care. His clinical expertise spans Oral Surgery, Maxillofacial Trauma, Facial Deformity, Head and Neck Oncology, Skin Cancer, Facial Reanimation, Dental Implantology, and Facial Aesthetics.

Mr. Barry brings an exceptional depth of knowledge in the anatomy of the face, head, and neck—areas he operates on daily in his hospital role. This advanced understanding makes him the go-to expert for aesthetic injectable treatments, offering unparalleled precision and safety. At Elysium, he leads all medical aesthetic procedures, including anti-wrinkle injections, Profhilo, polynucleotide therapy, and advanced dermal filler techniques.

Whether restoring function after trauma or enhancing natural beauty through aesthetic injectables, Mr. Barry combines surgical expertise with a refined aesthetic eye—delivering results that are both safe and beautifully subtle.

Mr Barry is not employed by Elysium and does not work for or on behalf of Elysium. He runs his own separate practice from a treatment room at our premises, under his own medical registration and his own professional indemnity insurance, and he is responsible for the consultation, treatment and aftercare of every patient he sees.

Appointments can be arranged through Elysium reception as a convenience. Payment for treatment is made directly to Mr Barry.
